Archer Travel is one of the largest travel agencies in California. More importantly, AT is one of the most experienced and respected companies in the travel business.

Entering our sixth decade, Archer Travel was born shortly after World War II, with Lola and Clifford Archer working out of a local Greyhound Bus Station. Today we have eight offices and proudly employ over 100 dedicated travel professionals. Our projected revenue for the coming year is in excess of $40 million dollars (More revenue in one week than the entire first two years of our company’s existence). We offer the latest and best in Airline, Cruise, Tour, and Hotel/Car arrangements, as well as our original Bus and Train accommodations.

AT has experience in all areas of travel. Working with national and multinational corporations we’ve organized programs for over 5,000 people. Companies such as Kinney Shoes, Microsoft, and Kentucky Fried Chicken have all called on us to successfully arrange their travel and accommodations for regional, national, and international sales meetings. We’ve attained equal success in smaller, yet just as important affairs – everything from weekend getaways to honeymoons, family reunions to safely transporting White Lion Cubs from South Africa to Las Vegas for Siegfried & Roy.

Today, Archer Travel not only enters its sixth decade, but its second generation of family ownership and operation. Steve and Ron Archer, sons of the original founders, and graduates of San Jose State, and the University of Southern California respectively, have led the company since 1985.

Both have served on various prestigious boards and committees such as The National Board of Directors for GIANT (a nationwide consortium of over 2,000 travel agencies), and the Airline Commission Task Force of over 200 California travel agencies. In addition, Ron is contracted by numerous travel companies as a paid consultant, and both brothers are recognized as respected leaders in the industry.

This respect, and experience, has enabled Archer Travel to extend the previously mentioned fantastic opportunities to you and your customers. Our Discount Air Division’s sole responsibility is to stay in constant contact with all the major carriers, and to secure blocks of unsold tickets at discount fares. Each member of this division specializes in, and has an exceptional working relationship with one airline. Thus, we’re able to be the first to take advantage of these tremendous savings and pass them along to our customers through promotions such as our Companion Flies Free and our $25 Flight Credit Programs…
